Tamás is a second generation high-technology entrepreneur. He is the principal owner and strategic leader of KÜRT Academy, a spinoff of the family holding KÜRT Information Security and Data Recovery Group. Mr. Kürti holds an MsC degree in organizational development, coaching and supervision. His social responsibilities include Board memberships of the Family Business Network Hungary, Family Business Network International’s Next Generation Committee, and the Board of European Family Business. He is a regular lecturer at several universities and a highly valued executive leadership and ownership team developer. He is a leading expert of agile and digital organizational transformations.

Csaba graduated with a master’s degree in economics and he also holds a post-graduate diploma in organization development and supervision. During his consulting career, Csaba’s clients have included Lego, ING Bank, Pepsi, Pfizer, Hungarian Telekom, Tesco, Teva, Vienna Insurance Group and others, including leading local, Hungarian companies. Many of his assignments have been related to leadership development, strategy deployment, organizational transformations and effectiveness increases for leadership teams. Tímea’s decades of experience in marketing management comes largely from the IT industry, having worked at Sun Microsystems, Microsoft and the Association for the Digital Economy in Hungary (IVSZ). Starting in enterprise segment marketing, as a server business unit manager, then as a partner strategy and program director, marketing communications and operations manager, she has built well-functioning and successful marketing teams and business units. After professional, business and organizational development of the data-driven marketing agency Nitro, he now serves as the marketing lead for a national EdTech startup. His personal mission is to ensure that the role and added value of marketing is increasingly recognised and put in place in more and more companies, whatever their size, profile and maturity. He enjoys working to shape the mindset of business decision-makers, develop marketing professionals and ensure that marketing teams work together effectively.

He started his career at Budapest University of Technology (BME), intending to become a researcher, until the regime change swept him away and forced him into a business career. Over almost 25 years, he has worked in almost every area of the oil industry, both at home and abroad, managing refineries and running commercial organisations, but always returning to the biggest challenge of the oil industry: the total optimisation of the value chain. Today, full-time, he wants to make the world a better place by spreading Lean methods in petroleum refining and in other areas of life.

Róbert Byssz

Róbert Byssz has more than 15 years of experience in the transformation of large global companies. Róbert was responsible for the global transformation of Philips in more than 100 countries. The main goal of this transformation was to completely replace Philips’ business and operating model. More than 70,000 employees of the company were trained in agile and lean methods and, together with the team, they achieved the transformation of Philips from a manufacturing holding company established in the 1970s into the world’s first listed HealthTech company.

In addition to several professional awards, Philips’ transformation was mentioned by Harvard Business Review as one of the 20 most successful digital transformations in the world in its article on the subject in 2019.

Later, Róbert tested the knowledge he acquired in the corporate sector in the startup and scale-up world, where he worked to make fast-growing, dynamic companies more successful on a global and European level.

Szilárd Orovica is the CEO of KÜRT Academy and a business consultant. After graduating in Economics in Pécs, he continued his studies in Finance in Nuremberg. He started his career at BigFour in Frankfurt, started working at PricewaterhouseCoopers, spent nearly nine years in the German-speaking world: he was a senior business analyst at Hudson Advisors, responsible for foreign subsidiaries at KIND Hörgeräte, became managing director at Labscreen Kft., a subsidiary of Siemens, and then held the position of CFO at Infineon Technologies, a semiconductor manufacturer in Hungary, a member of the Siemens Group with 800 employees. At the same time he became a member of the supervisory board of Siemens Audiológiai Technika Kft. He was Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of KUKA Robotics, a manufacturer of robot control cabinets, for seven years, and was a member of the Board of Directors of the German-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for several years. He then became CEO of Bubbles International Zrt, a start-up with 60 owned and franchised automated laundries. Besides managing the KÜRT Academy, he is also involved in corporate consulting and training support. On the corporate advisory side, this mainly covers areas ranging from reporting controlling to clients to the preparation of business plans for raising venture capital, the role of finance in sales, strategic advice, integration of local strategy into the strategic line of an international parent company.

His real challenge is to create strategies, to guide manufacturing companies towards technological solutions, to outline the path to digitalisation, to outline their business finance, but also to prepare start-up companies’ finance for raising capital.
